Job summary

Qualifications include CNA certification, preferred phlebotomy/EKG, and BLS within 30 days. Prior acute care or physician office experience is favored; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care and maintains a safe environment under RN supervision.
