ICU/CCU Nurse — Night Shift PRN

Parkland Health seeks an RN to join its ICU/Critical Care team on a PRN nights schedule. The candidate will provide patient-centered nursing care, perform ongoing assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and prevent complications.

This role requires ICU/CCU experience, an active RN license, and current CPR/ACLS certifications. Flexibility to float and train others is expected.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Two years ICU/CCU experience or completion of an ICU/CCU residency with one year experience or completion of a Nurse Internship Program with ICU/CCU experience.
• Current RN license or valid Texas compact license.
• CPR and ALS/ACLS certifications required on hire or placement.

Mansioni

• Serve as patient advocate and maintain patient-centered care.
• Perform assessments and respond to changes in condition with timely intervention.
• Manage care for adult ICU patients with neurological, cardiovascular, pulmonary, or GI issues.
• Document accurately and participate in handoffs and information exchanges.
• Provide direction to non-nursing staff and act as a preceptor.
• Float to areas within skillset as needed and maintain competency.
