Parkland Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift in the ICU. The RN will coordinate patient care using Parkland’s nursing model, assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate responses to treatment.

Requirements include a valid RN license (TX or compact), BLS, and ALS/ACLS, with at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current, valid RN license (Texas Board of Nursing) or a valid compact RN license.
• Must hold current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Must have current ALS or ACLS certification on hire/placement.
• RN with >2 years nursing experience; acute care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate care with the Parkland team.
• Perform continuous patient assessments; observe changes and intervene as needed.
• Manage adult ICU patients with neurological, pulmonary, cardiovascular, GI/ GU disorders; safe nursing care.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and hospital procedures; accurate documentation.
