Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced RN for the 2B ICU to care for high-acuity cardiovascular, post-open-heart, OR, cath lab and neuro patients. This full-time, day shift role (7:00 am–7:30 pm, three 12-hour shifts) offers advanced training on ventilators, vasoactive drips, CRRT and temperature management, plus a weekend differential and self-scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice; BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Relates experience and education needed to perform the job; continued competency required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Coordinate care and supervise unit staff in accordance with standards.
• Promote evidence-based practice and communicate with the care team.

Education

RN license required
