Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Phoenix seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and document critical care for cardiac patients in a Magnet-recognized academic environment.

The role is a night shift with a supportive team and emphasis on evidence-based practice. RN licensure and BLS are required; CVICU acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice. BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and discharge planning. Reviews diagnostics and coordinates with the health care team.
• Formulates and revises care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Implements care plans and delegates tasks while ensuring policy adherence.
• Documents nursing assessments, plans and patient responses in the medical record.
