Job summary

Amazon in San Diego, CA, is seeking an ICQA Area Manager to lead the Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team within a fast-paced fulfillment center. You will drive safety, accuracy, audits, and continuous improvement across ICQA processes, while mentoring staff and shaping shift planning.

The role demands strong English communication, 2+ years of people leadership, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Strong communication in English, verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation of safety actions and compliance for ICQA, including reporting and corrective actions.
• Own ICQA count, productivity, and audit goals in line with SOX controls.
• Conduct shift planning and roster management to align with the ICQA spend plan.
• Deliver PXT programs such as ADAPT feedback, Connections, Thrive for your shift.
• Identify defects and drive actions to improve inbound/outbound quality and inventory accuracy.
• Support regional and network-wide quality strategies and loss prevention policies.
• Review customer complaints and develop action plans to reduce incidents.
• Lead and coach ICQA team with monthly growth actions.
