Job summary

Agilent Technologies in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers through on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of ICPMS, ICPOES and AA systems, including hardware, software and networking configurations.

You will diagnose and resolve performance issues, provide preventive maintenance guidance, train customers, and collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent.
• 1–2+ years relevant field service experience.
• Ability to install, configure, and maintain complex hardware/software systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Install and optimize ICPMS/ICPOES/AA systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Perform on-site maintenance and repairs.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and configurations.
• Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D.
• May deliver internal training and calibrate equipment on-site.
