Job summary

Equipment Management Service and Repair – EMSAR is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to test, calibrate, verify, and perform preventive maintenance, installation and repair on laboratory instrumentation, medical testing devices, kiosk equipment, and high‑voltage UPS systems.

You will serve as the client-facing representative, establish strong communication with customers, manage work orders in EMSAR's CMMS, and uphold safety and quality standards while traveling regionally to dedicated client

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years of technical experience.
Valid driver license and liability insurance.
Ability to drive personal, fleet and/or rental vehicles.
Associates degree or higher is acceptable with 1+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

Provides on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and software/hardware upgrades on EMSAR supported equipment.
Establishes and maintains close communication with assigned customers to ensure maximum operational visibility.
Provide intermediate level of engineer support and service work.
Responsible for customer satisfaction pertaining to services provided.
Maintains a professional appearance at all times with regard to dress and personal appearance as well as tools and equipment.
Manages assigned work orders and documents in EMSAR’s CMMS.
Promotes teamwork and cooperation between EMSAR associates and partner staff.
