Job summary
Inpeco, the world leader in the automation of clinical laboratories, seeks a Field Service Software Applications Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems across North America. This role involves software, firmware, and IT support with frequent travel to customer sites.
You will lead onsite installations, provide training, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high reliability and uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with software applications, automation systems, or medical devices is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in software, firmware, and IT environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support and lead the installation, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live of the new system.
- Provide training for internal teams, customers, and partners.
- Provide remote and onsite support, including software upgrades, configuration, hotline assistance, issue escalation.
- Customer-facing support: assist laboratory personnel at customer sites, communicating service timelines clearly.
