ALS is seeking an ICP/OES-ICP/MS Analyst to join our global team. You will analyze samples using manual methods and complex instrumental techniques according to prescribed methods and SOPs.

The analyst will perform complex sample analyses, interpret results, maintain quality control, and ensure timely turnaround while upholding safety and data integrity in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related science preferred.
• ICP-MS/ICP-OES/ICP-OES experience strongly preferred (instrument platforms).
• 1-5 years of analytical laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to initiate corrective action and support colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Capacity to work under pressure with large sample volumes and tight turnarounds.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze samples using manual and complex instrumental techniques per SOPs.
• Analyze, interpret and review results; peer review of data.
• Maintain quality control requirements and records.
• Meet specified turnaround times and adhere to QC parameters.
• Record bench observations in notebooks and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix instrument malfunctions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area; practice laboratory safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
