Job summary

ALS is seeking an Analyst to analyze samples using manual and complex instrumental techniques in accordance with prescribed methods and SOPs. You will interpret results, perform quality control, and maintain records while troubleshooting instrument issues in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires 1–5 years of analytical lab experience, strong communication, and attention to detail. Proficiency with MS Office and LIMS is expected, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related science preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related science.
• GC/MS experience strongly preferred.
• 1–5 years of analytical laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples using manual and instrumental techniques per SOPs.
• Analyze, interpret and review sample results; peer review data.
• Perform quality control requirements and maintain records.
• Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Record bench observations in bound and electronic notebooks.
