Job summary

Qualifications

• General knowledge of organic chemistry fundamentals.
• Ability to understand terminology and principles to comply with analytical methods.
• Experience with QA/QC procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples using ICP-OES and combustion IR instruments per EPA methods and SOPs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instruments; develop new methods or modify procedures.
• Document activities and report results concisely and accurately.
• Analyze and report QC samples as required; identify quality problems.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and assist with related sampling supplies.
