Qualifications

• General knowledge of organic chemistry and analytical methods.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to learn laboratory software (MagICnet, LECO Cornerstone, Agilent) and LIMS.
• Organized, detail oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills; can work independently.
• Ability to take ownership, be accountable for decisions, and pursue objective achievement.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze soils and fuel samples using EPA methods and SOPs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ICP-OES and combustion IR instruments.
• Document activities and report results concisely.
• Analyze and report QC samples; identify quality problems to supervisor/QA.
• Prepare sampling supplies and related documentation; assist with duties as assigned.
