Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Two years of arena or sports venue experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of ice arena operations.
• Knowledge of basic computer tasks and email.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently or with others to accomplish tasks.
• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, sit, or bend for prolonged periods.
• Ability to maintain physical condition to operate equipment and perform lifting.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of the ice surface including operation of Zamboni and edger, and ice removal/install.
• Clean locker rooms, hallways, lobby, bathrooms, and spectator seating.
• Perform event setup and breakdown.
• Off-season work including painting, general repairs, and heavy cleaning.
