Job summary

Colorado College is seeking an Occasional Arena Operations/Ice Technician at Ed Robson Arena on Main Campus to maintain ice quality and support daily operations. This hands-on role covers ice resurfacing, equipment upkeep, and event setup to ensure a safe, clean environment for all arena users.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 18, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with arena setups, strikes, conversions, including ice changeovers.
• Conduct daily facility and equipment inspections to make repair suggestions.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance projects.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety for users.
• Open/close arena; manage lights and access.
• Provide quality ice for user groups.
• Perform periodic maintenance on ice equipment.
• Complete ice maintenance logs.
