Job summary

FMC Ice Sports, Massachusetts, is seeking a Facility Operator to maintain clean, safe arenas and support ice surface preparation. The role includes operating the ice resurfacer and ensuring facilities are ready for public hours. No prior rink experience required; training provided.

Work schedule includes nights, weekends, and some holidays to meet guest needs. Compensation begins at $18 per hour during training and increases to $20 per hour after training, with a discretionary bonus and annual

Qualifications

• H S Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License.
• Self-starter with the ability to analyze situations and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communication with diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexible to work varying hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure facility.
• Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilities.
• Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
