Job summary

FMC Ice Sports, the largest operator of public arenas in Massachusetts, seeks a Facility Operator to maintain clean, safe and healthy facilities and to operate ice resurfacer. The role includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays to meet patron needs.

No prior ice rink experience is required; training will be provided. Compensation starts at $18/hour during training, increasing to $20/hour after completion with potential discretionary bonus and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to analyze situations and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with diverse individuals and groups.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Flexible to work varying hours with seasons and service needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure facility.
• Make and maintain ice surface and arena facilities.
• Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.
