Job summary

FMC Ice Sports is seeking a Facility Operator to maintain and operate public ice arenas in Massachusetts. This role involves routine maintenance, ice resurfacing, and ensuring clean, safe facilities for patrons.

The operator will work nights, weekends, and some holidays, with training provided and opportunities for bonuses and reviews. No prior ice rink experience is required; training will be provided to prepare you for the duties and responsibilities associated with maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver's License.
• Self-starter with ability to analyze situations and develop solutions to problems with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a variety of individuals and groups, interested in recreational matters, representing different interests.
• Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work varying hours especially as seasons and service needs change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure facility.
• Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilities.
• Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.
