Job summary

FMC Ice Sports is seeking a Facility Operator to maintain and operate public ice facilities in Massachusetts. Responsibilities include keeping the facility secure, maintaining ice surfaces, and ensuring clean, safe environments for patrons.

Training will begin at $18 per hour with a raise to $20 per hour upon completion, plus discretionary bonuses and annual reviews. This role may require nights, weekends and some holidays to meet patron needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver's License
• Self-starter with ability to analyze situations and develop solutions to problems with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a variety of individuals and groups
• Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work varying hours especially as seasons and service needs change

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure facility.
• Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilities.
• Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.
