Job summary

American Dream Arena Attendant I is responsible for greeting guests in a professional and friendly manner, guiding them on safe use of the ice rink, and ensuring the rink and surrounding areas are clean and sanitized. You will assist in rink conversions for events and manage skate/helmet rentals, while communicating policies to patrons.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ice skating or familiarity with ice arena operations.
• Warm, welcoming, professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
• Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
• Ability to switch between tasks smoothly and maintain composure.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Provide instructions on safe use of the Ice Rink.
• Ensure rink, floors, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.
• Assist with rink conversions for special events.
• Act as a guest experience representative during events.
• Distribute, sanitize, and collect skate and helmet rentals.
• Communicate policies and procedures to patrons.
• Process admissions transactions accurately by cash, card, or debit.
• Handle stressful guest situations calmly and efficiently.
• Follow safety regulations at all times and complete tasks on schedule.
• Other responsibilities as required.
