Qualifications

• Five years of progressive coding experience in a medical group practice.
• Experience in multiple medical specialties; surgical/outpatient coding required.
• CPC and CPMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage coding education programs to ensure accurate ICD-10 coding.
• Train medical staff and coders on documentation best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, administration and staff to prioritize workflow.
• Adhere to AAPC/AHIMA standards and official coding guidelines.
