Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus two years of trade or technical training in power plant fundamentals.
• Six years of maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of I&E systems in a power plant or similar setting.
• Ability to read process/instrumentation diagrams and electrical one-line/logic diagrams.
• RI licenses or progression toward state licenses within stated timelines.
• Background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all I&E equipment from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting at a combined cycle power plant.
• Readings, inspections, lubrication, cleanings, and filter changes as part of preventive maintenance.
• Analyze equipment performance using data, schematics, diagrams, and manuals; recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot control systems including Honeywell Experion, Siemens T3000, and Allen Bradley.
• Use hand/power tools and calibration equipment; perform rigging, overhead crane and forklift operations.
• Utilize Maximo to manage work orders and update equipment history data bases.
