Job summary

Alliant Energy is hiring for a role focused on operating and inspecting combustion turbines, combined cycle plants, HRSGs and steam generators. You will perform instrument control work, collect data, and maintain logs with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires electrical/instrument trade experience or a related degree, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires 2 years of electrical or instrument and control experience or a 4-year degree, or completed apprenticeship.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong problem solving, teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect combustion turbine, combined cycle, HRSG, and steam generator equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform calibration, repairs and troubleshooting of controls and instrumentation.
• Support safety, reliability and efficiency improvements.
