Job summary

Calpine, a unit of Constellation Energy, is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to inspect and repair electrical equipment and control systems. The role includes monitoring gas and steam turbine controls, calibrating instrumentation, and using CMMS to document maintenance activities.

You will work under guidance, perform routine trouble-shooting, and help maintain logs and procedures in a safe, compliant manner. A high school diploma and basic mechanical/technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level/apprentice; with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in instrument/electrical and control system applications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity and mathematics.
• Experience with DCS programming and configuration.
• Begins to achieve primary certifications/licensures. Valid state driver’s license.
