Edmonds School District is hiring a Paraeducator IB for Primary Intensive Support to work in IS/ISES/ILS/DK settings. The role involves collaboration with teachers, supervising students and preparing instructional materials.

The position is non-continuing for the 2026-2027 school year with a shift of 6.50 hours per day on a 181-day calendar and an hourly rate range of $32.76–$36.67 (non-exempt). Training will be provided prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Meet one of the following education/credential options: associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher, completed paraeducator apprenticeship, or PESB approved assessment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students and staff in intensive learning support classrooms or other K-12 environments.
• Assist with instructional support and supervision for students with diverse needs.
• Prepare educational materials and monitor academic progress; collect student data.
• Implement behavior plans and support safe, inclusive learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

PESB approved assessments (ParaPathways, Pearson Paraprofessional, Master Teacher Paraeducator Online Training)
