Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Meet one of the following: associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher, completed paraeducator apprenticeship, or PESB approved assessment.
• Possession of valid First Aid and CPR Certification; de-escalation and physical restraint training.
• Mandatory in-person training/orientation prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated staff in delivering instructional programs in various areas.
• Adapt and implement educational materials to meet students' specialized needs.
• Monitor students' progress, behavior, and safety.
• Perform routine clerical and office tasks to support teachers and district staff.
