Edmonds School District is seeking a Paraeducator Level IB to work in intensive learning support classrooms and K-12 environments. The role includes instructional support, material prep, progress monitoring, data collection, and behavior plan implementation.

This non-continuing position for the 2026-2027 school year is 5.83 hours per day across an 181-day calendar. Eligible candidates must meet education requirements and certifications, with mandatory in-person training prior to start.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• One of the following: associate degree or higher; 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher; completed an apprenticeship; or PESB approved assessments.
• Must maintain First Aid and CPR certifications, de-escalation and physical restraint training, and Special Education Subject Matter Certificate (or obtain within specified timelines).
• Mandatory in-person training/orientation before start date.

Aufgaben

• Support instructional and supervision duties in SPED classrooms and other K-12 learning environments.
• Prepare educational materials, monitor student progress and collect student data.
• Implement behavior plans and collaborate with IS/ISES/ILS/DK teams.
