Job summary

Everett Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to support students in resource room and program services. This role involves assisting with IEPs, behavior and adaptive needs, and implementing behavior intervention plans throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include health plan support, medical delegations, and possible bus assistance as needed, with training opportunities such as Right Response. The district operates on a 6.5 hour/ day, 195 day calendar to support student success.

• Support implementation of Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) across students

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)
• Address academic, behavior/social, and adaptive needs of students
• Assist in implementing Behavior Intervention plans
• Assist with health plans, toileting plans, and medical delegations as per each student’s plan
• Potentially require Right Response training; duties vary by program and student needs
• May assist in transporting a student on the bus
