Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including loading equipment onto the truck, driving the truck to the A/C, loading galleys according to customer guidelines, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment.
• Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for the entire work shift.
• Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes.
• Must be able to pass a 10‑year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge.
• Must follow all Ramp, AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations.
• Must have the ability to push up to 70 lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30 lb.
• Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment.
• Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must successfully complete an on‑the‑job driver training program.
• Must possess interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be able to apply safety standards.
• Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment.
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to change due to shift bidding.
• Must have an excellent disciplinary record.
• Must have at least 3 months of Company seniority.
