Overview

Catering Delivery Driver

DESCRIPTION OF MAIN JOB DUTIES

• Check flight is complete
• Load equipment onto the truck
• Drive the truck to the A/C
• Load galleys according to customer guidelines
• Place dirty equipment and trash in designated area
• Other duties assigned by management (Complete airline trolleys carriers, build soda, water and equipment drawers, organize station areas)

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
• Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, stand for entire work shift
• Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
• Must be able to pass a 10‑year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
• Must follow all Ramp, AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
• Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30lbs
• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment; Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; Must successfully complete on‑the‑job driver training program
• Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to apply safety standards
• Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays and may change due to shift bidding
