Job summary

Tier1usa is looking for a dedicated individual to join the catering team in Orlando, Florida. The role involves managing various catering responsibilities, ensuring adherence to customer guidelines and safety regulations.

Ideal candidates must be able to work in extreme temperatures, have strong organizational and communication skills, and be flexible with their schedule to accommodate a 24/7 operation. A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet physical demands are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment.
• Good physical condition to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for entire shifts.
• Good adaptability to frequent changes and flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for catering aspects including loading and unloading equipment.
• Follow customer guidelines for loading galleys.
• Adhere to all safety and security rules and regulations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including loading equipment on to the truck, driving the truck to the A/C, loading galleys according to customer guidelines, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area
• Other duties assigned by management.

Job Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
• Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
• Must be able to pass a 10 year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
• Must follow all Ramp, and AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
• Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 40lbs.
• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
• Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
• Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to apply safety standards
• Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays which is subject to change due to shift bidding
