Job summary

Energy Transfer in Harrisburg, SD seeks an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and associated equipment across pipelines and stations.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, calibrating safety devices per DOT/PSM, and mentoring junior staff. A strong safety mindset and ability to work on-call are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Experience with control systems and electrical equipment.
• Familiar with In Touch Wonderware or FactoryTalk and RSLogix/DeltaV.
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 requirements.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA and instrument electrical equipment.
• Repair and calibrate PLC/DCS and safety controls.
• Read manuals, standards, drawings, and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document results.
• Participate in on-call rotations and safety programs.
