Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations.

The role involves repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and performing predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. You will read schematics and engineering standards, perform DOT-compliant testing, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Experience maintaining control systems and field instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and related instrument/electrical equipment.
• Read manuals, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Test, calibrate, and document control devices per applicable standards.
• Provide mentoring and oversee work by others as needed.
• Maintain accurate written and electronic reporting.
