Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in the United States is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventive maintenance on SCADA, control systems, and inverter equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Duties include reading manuals and schematics, calibrating safety devices per DOT 195 and OSHA 1910, and mentoring less experienced staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
Experience with SCADA, PLC/DCS, and instrument/electrical equipment.
Familiarity with In Touch Wonderware or FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV.
Knowledge of DOT 195 and OSHA 1910 related to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and electrical equipment.
Maintain pneumatic/instrument distribution and motor control gear.
Read manuals, drawings, and schematics (P&ID, electrical).
Test and calibrate safety devices per DOT 195/PSM 1910; keep maintenance frequencies current.
Mentor less experienced staff and provide written reports.
