Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC in Gonzales, TX is seeking an I&E Technician to plan maintenance and train operations staff on the SCADA system. The ideal candidate will work independently to maintain and troubleshoot RTUs, PLCs, gas and liquid measurement devices, transducers, transmitters, and the SCADA network.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in instrument control and electrical maintenance in oil and gas, and proficiency with PLCs, SCADA, and related software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in instrument control, automation, electrical maintenance in oil and gas.
• Proficient with PLCs, SCADA systems and related software.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and perform electrical tasks.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; teamwork oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance and repair plans for RTUs, PLCs and SCADA.
• Train operations staff on the SCADA system.
• Troubleshoot and maintain gas and liquid measurement devices, transducers and transmitters.
• Troubleshoot low voltage electrical, read diagrams and wiring layouts.
• Configure and troubleshoot Siemens PLC; calibrate TotalFlow gas meters.
