Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an I&E Technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations in Lakeland, FL, with a planned transition to Arcadia in 2028 after the new compressor station becomes operational. The role emphasizes repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems, PLCs/DCS, SCADA, and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities.

Essential duties include maintaining SCADA instrumentation, RCVs, motor control gear, and safety devices per DOT/PSM

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Associates Degree in Instrumentation preferred.
State Electrical License preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument/electrical equipment.
Maintain RCVs, pneumatic and intelligent instruments, and motor control gear.
Read manuals, standards, drawings, and schematics; follow DOT and PSM requirements.
Provide mentoring and oversight to less qualified employees.
Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
