Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is hiring an I&E Technician to modify, repair and overhauls electronic and electrical equipment across industrial sites. You will troubleshoot control systems, calibrate sensors, and maintain PLCs while ensuring safety and compliance with procedures.

The role requires reading P&IDs, electrical drawings and performing preventive maintenance. The position is based in Houston area with occasional travel and outdoor work in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or apprenticeship in instrumentation preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation highly preferred.
• Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Modify, repair, or overhaul electronic and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot control systems and equipment such as gas compressors, pumps, turbines and controls.
• Install instrumentation and electrical components safely.
• Read P&IDs and electrical drawings; calibrate field instrumentation.
• Maintain PLCs and monitoring devices; update electrical drawings as needed.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in variable climates.
