Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to provide support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations in Texas. You will repair, install, and troubleshoot control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines, complying with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires proficiency with PLCs/DCS, instrument and electrical distribution systems, and documented preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Experience with control system software and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, plant, pipeline, and compressor systems.
• Read manuals, schematics, and engineering standards for control equipment.
• Perform testing, calibration, and documentation per DOT and PSM requirements.
• Provide mentoring and oversight to junior staff and coordinate with contractors.
