Job summary

Enterprise Products is hiring an I & E Technician to modify, repair, or overhaul electronic and electrical equipment and controls. You will apply electronics knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation.

The role involves installing instrumentation and electrical components safely and supporting control systems. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 7 on/7 off rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or apprenticeship in instrumentation preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation highly preferred.
• 5+ years electrical/instrumentation exp. in energy-related industry advisable.
• Knowledge of electrical codes; AC voltage 120-480V; 24 VDC.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot control systems, gas turbines, generators, and gas chromatography.
• Read P&ID and electrical diagrams; update drawings as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electronic and pneumatic equipment.
• Provide training and technical support as required.
