Job summary

Williams Companies in Utah (Eagle Mountain) is seeking an I&E-focused Operations Technician to join one of our largest installations, a Fortune 500 company powering reliable energy.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, including switchgear, motor controls, control loops, PLCs (Allen Bradley), and AC/DC systems, while upholding safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems, including switchgear, motor controls, control loops, PLCs (Allen Bradley), and both AC/DC systems.
• Ensuring safe and reliable operations by identifying root causes of equipment issues and implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Maintaining and repairing process control systems to support efficient plant operations.
• Collaborating with project teams to define scope and instrumentation specifications for new installations and upgrades.
• Performing additional duties as needed to support operations.
