Job summary

Williams in Bowling Green, OH is seeking an I&E Operations Technician to maintain and optimize electrical and control systems. You’ll install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, including PLCs and switchgear, while supporting project teams on new installations.

Expect rotating 10–12 hour shifts, travel between sites, and a strong safety focus as you grow into a leadership role within a Fortune 500 company committed to growth and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime and travel between locations.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions with PPE and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, including switchgear and motor controls.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Maintain and repair process control systems to support efficient plant operations.
• Collaborate with project teams to define instrumentation specifications for new installations.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
