Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
• PE registration preferred.
• Familiarity with control system programming concepts.
• Experience with SCADA and PLC; DCS a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques for projects of varying complexity.
• Incorporate contract requirements and client RFPs to meet goals.
• Lead cost, feasibility and planning studies; analyze client data and coordinate with engineers.
• Develop design calculations, drawings, and specifications per codes and Kiewit guidelines.
• Prepare technical specifications, perform bid evaluations, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Schedule, review, and coordinate design efforts with project personnel.
• Mentor entry and mid-level staff, providing direction and coaching.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners on electrical/I&C design concepts.
