Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector seeks a Hypersonics Program Manager to lead a team developing and producing hypersonic systems. You will oversee P&L, growth, technical execution, staffing, and programmatic milestones for the assigned program.

The role includes proposal development, customer negotiations, and planning, tracking, and execution of work within budget and schedule constraints, with coordination across government customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Engineering or Business (with a technical focus) or equivalent and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant program management experience.
• Experience with Flight and Missile Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead IPT meetings and set expectations for project team.
• Routinely evaluate program technical and programmatic metrics.
• Coordinate program activities across multiple functional activities.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to keep schedule and budget on track.
• Manage risk and mitigation plans; oversee budgets and schedules for control accounts.
