Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers across the United States. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, document field activities, and work closely with senior technicians during complex startups.

The role requires traveling up to 100%, flying to project sites as needed, and maintaining clear records using Microsoft Teams and standard reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel; willingness to fly to regions.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers.
• Perform troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision while supporting senior technicians during startup activities.
• Assist with equipment startup & commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU units.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and verify system performance.
• Maintain documentation including startup checklists and inspection reports.
