Job summary

Corning seeks an Engineering Services resource to support hyperscale data center innovations. You will gather customer requirements, coordinate prototype efforts, and create documentation while working with AIR, Market Development, and Manufacturing teams.

Role requires translating technical insights into customer-ready solutions and coordinating with internal stakeholders to minimize risk and accelerate development.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering Related Studies required or equivalent.
• 1+ years in telecommunications, data center, or related industry.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear customer-facing and internal communication.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering Services solution development for strategic HSDC customers; align solutions with customer needs.
• Support HSDC leaders, PMO, Market Development, and other stakeholders to meet innovation needs.
• Engage customers and internal teams to document requirements and align with manufacturing capabilities.
• Document customer use cases and support Technology during design and development.
• Provide input to IP/patent development; identify installation failure modes and mitigation plans.
• Train customer engineers, design firms, and installers on new products and installation methods.
• Establish procedures for handling, installation, and testing of innovation products.
• Support field trials; identify new use cases during field activities and provide design input for software configurators.
