Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Commercial Technology Manager for the Data Center Business Unit (DCBU) to drive new innovations for non-hyper scale data center customers and Global Accounts. You will serve as the primary liaison between customer engagements and Corning’s technology organization, defining prototypes and supporting field trials to bring new products to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business or related discipline.
• Customer-focused relationship building with customers through active listening and dialogue.
• Analytical problem solving to navigate complex challenges and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Detail customer-specific network switch architecture and cabling solutions.
• Identify and analyze customer pain points through routine engagements.
• Identify inflection points in network design to enable innovation.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to drive adoption of new solutions and support field trials.
• Coordinate cross-divisional collaboration (AIR, PLM, COC Technology, S&T) during discovery and solution selection.
• Engage DCBU customers with innovative ideas beyond immediate planning horizons.
