Job summary

Corning is seeking an Engineering Services (ES) resource to support innovation and commercialization for strategic hyperscale data center customers. You will gather requirements, coordinate prototype efforts, and create documentation to guide solution development while aligning with manufacturing capabilities.

You will collaborate with AIR, Market Development, and Technology teams, translating complex technical needs into customer-focused proposals and supporting field deployments and training.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering Related Studies (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Optics) required.
• 1+ years of telecommunications, data center, or related industry experience preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear customer-facing and internal communications.
• Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering Services solution development for strategic HSDC customers.
• Understand customer innovation priorities and align solutions to customer needs.
• Coordinate with PMO managers, Market Development and other stakeholders to meet innovation needs.
• Document customer use cases and support Technology during design and development.
• Provide design input to support IP/patent development and identify installation failure modes.
