Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Business Development Specialist to help identify market opportunities and develop customer relationships within the hyperscale data center ecosystem.

You will gather insights, support plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to connect customer needs with Corning's products and capabilities. You should have 6+ years in sales, business development, market development, or related roles, and a BS/MS (MBA preferred) with strong collaboration and communication

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree required; MBA preferred.
• 6+ years of sales, business development, market development, product management, or related commercial experience.
• 3+ years of Data Center Market experience preferred or equivalent exposure to technology, telecom, infrastructure, or enterprise customer markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify priority hyperscale data center ecosystem targets and assist with engagement planning.
• Build working relationships with targeted customers, partners, channels, contractors, OEMs, design firms, and industry associations.
• Contribute to account, distribution, and partnership plans by gathering information and supporting follow-through.
• Summarize market, customer, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and discussions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support timely customer responses and aligned communication.
• Develop customer presentations and marketing materials reflecting requirements and priorities.
• Support growth of programs and accounts under direction from leadership.
