Job summary

LINX is seeking a Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale builds nationwide. This full-time, travel-heavy role requires managing large-scale projects with budgets often in the millions, coordinating with procurement, and directing field teams across sites.

You will own planning, budgeting, scheduling, change management, and final closeout, while ensuring client satisfaction and on-site safety. A four-year degree and PMP/DCDC/RCDD certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managing large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects or 3+ years of general commercial construction PM with ownership of a $1–$3M budget
• 5+ years in a construction leadership role or equivalent labor management
• Willingness to travel 75%–100% to long-term project sites across the US, with home time about once a month
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff meetings, define schedules, and conduct site walkthroughs with clients and stakeholders at each new hyperscale location
• Adapt project plans to site conditions, local labor market, and client requirements of each long-term assignment
• Own full multi-million dollar project budgets, track spend in real time, and flag variances before overruns
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure equipment and materials are ordered, received, and staged before each start date
• Manage vendor/supplier relationships for each project site
• Oversee scheduling, hiring, and performance management of installation technicians
• Build and lead project teams from the ground up as crews and site conditions change
• Track milestones and manage change orders through the project lifecycle
• Deliver final closeout and conduct client training; carry lessons learned to next site
