Job summary

LINX is hiring a Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale builds at project sites nationwide. This full-time travel role requires owning budgets, coordinating site teams, and driving projects on schedule while traveling 75%–100%, with home time about once per month during active projects.

You will plan, monitor costs, manage procurement, oversee technicians, and ensure complete documentation from kickoff to closeout.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects or 3+ years of general commercial construction project management with direct ownership of a $1M–$3M budget
• 5+ years in a construction leadership role or equivalent labor management experience coordinating multiple crews
• Available for 100% travel to project sites nationwide (all travel expenses covered)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff meetings, define project schedules, and conduct site walkthroughs with clients and stakeholders at each new hyperscale location
• Adapt project plans to site conditions, labor market, and client requirements for each long-term assignment
• Own the full multi-million dollar project budget, track spend in real time, and flag variances before overruns
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure equipment and materials are ordered, received, and staged
• Oversee scheduling, hiring, and performance management of installation technicians
• Track milestones and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle
• Deliver final project closeout and conduct client training at project completion
